Title
Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh in which URA will make a $50,000 grant to the City to reimburse the City for completed curb, sidewalk and street improvements in the Highland Park business district.  (Council District 7)
 
Body
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") has received a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under the Community Revitalization Assistance Program to be used to reimburse the City for public improvements constructed in the Highland Park business district; and
 
Whereas, the City and URA wish to enter into a grant agreement pursuant to which URA will transfer $50,000.00 to the City as reimbursement for the cost of the work;
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with URA, in form approved by the City Solicitor, pursuant to which URA will make a grant to the City in the maximum amount of $50,000.00 to reimburse the City for completed curb, sidewalk and street improvements in the Highland Park business district.
