Resolution granting unto The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, the privilege and license to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a business identification sign, book drops and a decorative panel on the right-of-way of 1230 Federal Street, Lot and Block 23-L-119, in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, are hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense,
1.) A steel double-sided business identification sign with pole, internally lit, 17'3” in height, 2' wide by 7' high at least 18” back from the curb line at 1230 Federal Street;
2.) Two (2) steel side by side book returns, 47” high x 30” wide x 37” deep, at least 18” back from the curb line at 1230 Federal Street;
3.) A sloping stone and steel panel which serves as an architectural feature, back lit, 13'1” in width, 21'6” in height, extending 1'6” to 3' out from the face of building, 7'6” above the 13'10” sidewalk at 1230 Federal Street in the 22nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-693 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.

Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction.
