Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Innovation & Performance to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Appalachian Regional Commission and Connect Humanity’s Appalachian Digital Accelerator program for the purpose of receiving and spending grant funds in the amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) to support a Digital Equity position in I&P. A local match of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) shall come from the Innovation & Performance Operating Budget for a total project cost of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00).

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Appalachian Regional Commission and Connect Humanity’s Appalachian Digital Accelerator program in order to receive a grant award of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) to support a Digital Equity position. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0329400459.45703.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, to make all legitimate expenditures required by said Agreement(s) as outlined in Section 1. Said expenditures shall not exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expense account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 0329400459.
Section 3. A local match of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) shall come from the 2024 Operating Budget JDE Job Number 11101.103000.51.51101.2024 for a total project cost of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00).
