Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Mayor and the Animal Control Supervisor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements or contract or contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the purpose of creating and implementing a Spay and Neuter Program for the residents of the City of Pittsburgh within the Department of Public Safety Bureau of Animal Control.  Said agreement or agreements shall not exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) chargeable to and payable from the Department of Public Safety - Bureau of Animal Control, Miscellaneous Services Account, Organization Code: 280000, Account: 526150, Fund: 1000, Subclass: 150 Budget Year: 2009, Amount: $50,000.
