Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development to receive monies to support the City's Business District Improvement program and further providing for legitimate expenditures for payments and agreement or agreements, or contract or contracts for any services required in connection with the execution of said grant agreement. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts or expenditures shall not exceed $625,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of six hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($625,000.00). These funds will be used to support the City's Business District Improvement program. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: account 450500, fund 2940, organization code 400000, project PR10023, budget year 2008, Department of Finance.
Section 2. The Director of Finance and/or the Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed six hundred twenty five thousand dollars ($625,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: fund 2940, organization code 400000, project PR10023, budget year 2008, Department of Finance.
