Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, does hereby congratulate the City Black team on its Championship and does hereby support the City Wellness at Work program in their efforts to promote wellness and camaraderie among the employees of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, in its first year of existence, forty-nine city employees participated in the 'City Wellness at Work' softball program; and
WHEREAS, those forty-nine employees, from a variety of City departments, came together to form three teams, City Gold, City Red and City Black, all playing in the Sports Monster League; and
WHEREAS, the City Black team, with a record of  8-1-1, defeated the Pacman Jones', by the score of 19-10, to win the Sports Monster Summer Softball Championship; and
WHEREAS, the members of that team:
Coach - Mike Hyjurick - Left Centerfielder            Ryan Murphy - 3rd Baseman
Asst. Coach - Jake Minton - Short Stop            Carly Walker - 1st Baseman
Michele Burch - Right Centerfielder                  Tammy Sibina - Catcher
Jim Kline - 2nd Baseman & Breakdancer            Mike Gable - Rightfielder
Elysa Folino - Pitcher                              Rich Williams - Utility Fielder
R.J. Minton - Leftfielder                        Dennis James - Rightfielder
Donny Mason - Leftfielder                        Jamie Warnock-Utility Fielder
 
are to be commended for their enthusiasm and hard work; and
 
WHEREAS, the 'City Fit Wellness at Work' program is to be commended for bringing city employees together for exercise and an opportunity to meet one another and work together outside of the workplace;
