Resolution approving Execution of a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and John R. Wilson and Elaine A. Miller Wilson, for the Sale of Block 22-L, Lots 149A and 154, in the 21st Ward of the City of Pittsburgh - Council District No. 6 (1119 N. Franklin Street and 1518 Sedgwick Street - Sideyard)

Body
Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 393, approved September 15, 1967 and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Residential Land Reserve Fund Cooperation Agreement was approved; and

Whereas, pursuant to Ordinance No. 469, approved October 22, 1970, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 27, in the 21st Ward of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and John R. Wilson and Elaine A. Miller Wilson, in connection with the sale of Block 22-L, Lots 149A and 154, for $1,000.00, said property being located in Redevelopment Area No. 27 in the 21st Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and

Whereas, these properties have been acquired by monies from the Residential Land Reserve Fund and Redevelopment Area No. 27 Project Funds; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed Contract is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
