Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the Richard King Mellon Foundation for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00).  These funds will be used to support conservation and maintenance of the City's public art collection.  The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: account 481140, fund 2940, organization code 110000, project PR10012 budget year 2008, Department of City Planning.
 
Section 2.       The Director of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Richard King Mellon Foundation outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: fund 2940, organization code 110000, project PR10012, budget year 2008, acct. # 500000; subclass-600, Department of City Planning.
