Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Directors of the Departments of Public Works and the Department of Finance to enter into a License Agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to construct various public improvements for the Bedford Hill Apartments Phase II adjacent tot the Ammon Recreation Center.
Body
WHEREAS, URA, as agent of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, intends to construct the public improvements for the Bedford Hill Apartments Phase II Development located adjacent to the Ammon Recreation Center in the Hill District section of Pittsburgh; and
WHEREAS, some of the public improvements, consisting of roadways, water and sewer lines, sidewalks, curbs, street lighting, street trees, sidewalks and curbs (the "Work"), will be constructed on land owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to enter into a License Agreement for the purpose of granting URA permission to use City property for the foregoing purpose.
Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Directors of the Departments of Public Works and the Department of Finance are authorized to enter into a License Agreement with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to construct various public improvements for the Bedford Hill Apartments Phase II adjacent to the Ammon Recreation Center. The form and substance of the License Agreement shall be subject to the approval of the Solicitor.
