Title: WHEREAS, the Royal Rangers is a ministry that reaches across the United States and in over 65 countries around the world that motivates and strengthens boys spiritually, mentally, physically and socially; and WHEREAS, the Royal Rangers are strengthened spiritually through Bible study and devotions, strengthened mentally by an advanced awards-based weekly program, strengthened physically by participation in age-specific activities and recreation and strengthened socially through church and community service activities; and WHEREAS, Mark Suehr II has earned the Royal Rangers highest award, the "Gold Medal of Achievement" which is a medal of great distinction and honor; and WHEREAS, in order to achieve this great honor, a recipient has to complete 24 merits, serve in a leadership position, write an essay on "The Value of Royal Rangers to Me" and has to complete a Christian Service Project; and WHEREAS, Mark has completed all the requirements for this award and will be rec...

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby commends Mark Suehr II for his dedication to the Royal Rangers and congratulates him for this great accomplishment.
