Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance to enter into a contract and/or contracts or agreement and/or agreements with Mobility Inc. Dba Flexcar in connection with the operation and provision of various types of motor vehicles for the City of Pittsburgh for use by designated users. Cost not to exceed $10,000.00.

WHEREAS, MOBILITY INC. DBA FLEXCAR (“Flexcar”) is an organization that provides comprehensive programs and services for motor vehicle usage to members of the public and other governmental agencies; and
WHEREAS, Flexcar has invited the City of Pittsburgh to be a charter member of the organization located in the City of Pittsburgh; and
WHEREAS, Flexcar upon completion of said agreement will provide approved users with access to vehicles owned, leased and/or rented by Flexcar and Flexcar will pay for vehicle related expenses such as fuel, tires, maintenance, and repairs, etc. more fully described in said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into agreement with Flexcar at rates for said motor vehicles as specified within the agreement; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance on behalf of the City are hereby authorized to enter into a contract and/or contracts or agreement and/or agreements with Mobility Inc. DBA Flexcar, approved in substance by the Law Department, to lease/rent certain motor vehicles as may be made available by Flexcar and demanded for use by designated users of the City of Pittsburgh for a period of one (1) year with an option to extend for an additional two (2) years based upon the annual appropriation as may be approved by City Council
