WHEREAS, Stephen Mark Howe, son of Patricia and Mark Howe, is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 66; and

WHEREAS, Stephen Mark Howe has achieved the status of Eagle Scout and will be honored at a Ceremony on November 26, 2005 at the Sheraden Community Presbyterian Church; and

WHEREAS, Stephen's Eagle Scout Project involved organizing several volunteers who worked for three days to repair and paint damaged walls, ceiling and woodwork in the Altar Boy Sacristy of Holy Innocents Catholic Church on Landis Street in the 20^th Ward, City of Pittsburgh; and

WHEREAS, with Stephen's leadership Holy Innocents now has a pristine and updated Altar Boy Sacristy; and

WHEREAS, only those young men who have been outstanding in scouting, have the esteem of their community and fellow scouts and serve in a position of responsibility and leadership obtain Eagle Scout status, the highest rank in the boy scouts.
