WHEREAS, Priscella Lee (Prissy), will celebrate her 65th Birthday with friends and family at the home of her daughter, Terri, on Saturday, November 26, 2005; and
WHEREAS, born on November 28, 1940, to Dorothy (Dot) and Anthony (Wimp) Phillips, Priscella was the third of six children of this union which include: Delores (Dee Dee), Barbara (Barb), Anthony Jr. (Jr. Boy), Donna (Donnie), and Darryl; and
WHEREAS, Priscella (Prissy), later married Henry (Tony) Lee and to this union were three children, Tammy, Tyrone, and Terri. Priscella also has two grandchildren, Thai Cammon and Justin Phillips, whom she loves and cherishes. She cherishes her special friendship she has sustained for over 50 years with Constance (Connie) Parker; and
WHEREAS, Priscella has worked various positions during her career that include: St. Francis Hospital, Three Rivers Stadium, Phillips Hauling Service, and retiring from Allegheny County Port Authority in January of 2003; and
WHEREAS, Priscella has been active in the communities in which she has lived, Garfield, the Hill District, and currently in the Stanton Heights community. She is a member of Mount Ararat Baptist Church where she is on the Usher Board and the Bridal Committee. She is an active member of Black Women' Political Crusade and worked diligently on the campaign of Councilwoman Twanda Carlisle, helping to secure the victory. She was a professional singer with the singing group "The Velveteer". Priscella loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family and friend.
