Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Mr. Jesse Edward Bagley on his commitment to his family and wishes him a very happy 80th birthday.

Whereas, on Saturday, November 19, 2005, an 80th Birthday Celebration will be held to honor Mr. Jesse Edward Bagley at the Lombardozzi Restaurant; and
 
Whereas, born on November 22, 1925, in Birmingham Alabama, Mr. Bagley was the second out of four sons and one daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Jesse William Bagley; and
 
Whereas, Mr. Bagley left home at an early age and enlisted in the U. S. Army where he received an honorable discharge. Mr. Bagley came to Pittsburgh and was employed at Westinghouse Air Brakes, drove a cab for Peoples Cab Company, and worked for Children's Hospital in Oakland where he retired. Between those jobs he and his brother Hershel worked a family cleaning business; and
 
Whereas, in the early 1990's, Mr. Bagley joined Six Mount Zion Church and later became a Church Trustee. Mr. Bagley is an advocate golfer for and a member of the Duffer Dan; and
 
Whereas, Mr. Bagley is married to Eula Bagley and has four grown children, a host of grandchildren, and one living brother and one sister.
