Title

Resolution declaring that City property known as Allegheny Riverfront Park (lower level) shall be dedicated for public park purposes.

Body

WHEREAS, by quit-claim deed dated November 25, 1998, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust conveyed title to the City of 21.08 ± acres of land (the "parcel") in the 2^nd Ward of the City of Pittsburgh to be used as a park for public use; and

WHEREAS, the parcel is designated as Block and Lots 8-R-10, 8-S-190, and 8-S-191 at the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County and is further described in EXHIBIT A, which is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, the City now desires to officially dedicate the parcel for public park purposes.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      It is hereby declared that the above-described parcel shall hereafter officially be dedicated for park purposes.
