Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement(s), Professional Service Agreement(s), and/or Contract(s) for the upgrade of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission's existing automated applicant management system software (for the City's applicant and employee selection processing), conversion of existing data, training, and extended technical support and maintenance of this system.  The upgrade will enable the City of Pittsburgh to employ an on-line application system for accepting and processing employment applications and requests for job notifications.  The total amount payable under this Resolution will not exceed $40,350 (Forty Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars) and is chargeable to and payable from Account #526100, Fund 1000, Sub Class 150, Organization Code 109000, and Budget Year 2005.
