Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, in a form approved by the City Solicitor:  UPMC shall provide on-going treatment for service related injuries and/or illnesses to CITY employees under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act.  UPMC shall render comprehensive medical care services for CITY employees on an as-needed basis; provide inpatient as well as ambulatory services for infectious disease management and pharmacy review services as described in the original contract January 1, 2006.  UPMC shall maintain application outsourcing services and hosting services for the performance of medical care and services as agreed upon in the contract made between the City of Pittsburgh and UPMC on January 1, 2006 at a cost not to exceed $4,034,436, plus Administrative Costs in an amount not to exceed $ 273,000 (Two Hundred Seventy-Three Thousand Dollars), chargeable to and payable from Code Account 44-9, Employee Expense Workers' Compensation Program Medical, Index Code 004499, Account 571100, Fund 8170  1000, Organization 999300, Sub Class 600 040 and Budget Year 2006, Department of Personnel and civil Service Commission.
