Whereas, the Planning Commission of the City of Pittsburgh has heretofore granted to the Board of Public Education of Pittsburgh approval under the provisions of Section 911.04.A.64 of the Pittsburgh Code for authorization to construct a 2-story extension to the easterly side of Sterrett Classical Academy with classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria and library at 7100 Reynolds Street on property zoned “R1D-L” Residential Single Unit Detached Low Density District, 14th Ward, City of Pittsburgh in accordance with Conditional Use Application No. 713 and accompanying drawings filed by Landmarks Design Associates dated May 5, 2004 which are on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator, Department of City Planning and which are incorporated herein by reference thereto;

Whereas, the aforesaid Zoning Ordinance provides in Section 922.06.I that if a conditional use involves physical improvement and such physical improvement has not been substantially started within one year after the date of approval, the approval shall be void unless Council renews its approval;

Whereas, the physical improvement pursuant to the approval of the Conditional Use embodied in Resolution No. 542 of 2004 was not substantially started within one year of said approval and applicant has requested that approval o...
