WHEREAS, on Saturday, October 1, 2005 Comcast and the Salvation Army located in Homewood-Brushton took part in Comcast Care Day; and

 

WHEREAS, Comcast Cable the country's largest provider of cable services donated new computers to the Salvation Army and over 125 Comcast volunteers spent the day at the Salvation Army painting, landscaping, and cleaning the Salvation Army; and

 

WHEREAS, in addition to supplies, professional services, materials, and long hours by the Comcast employees, family members and friends, the Comcast Foundation donated a check in the amount of $25,000 to the Salvation Army; and

 

WHEREAS, Comcast continues to provide the community with the communications products and services that connect them to the world.
