BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, declares October 4th, 2005, “Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh” Days in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty Branch is celebrating 100 years of serving the community on October 8, 2005; and    

WHEREAS, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is an essential community anchor, providing programs that promote positive change and help neighborhoods flourish; and

WHEREAS, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Centennial will celebrate the East Liberty neighborhood and the surrounding communities; and

WHEREAS, on this day and all days afterward, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty will continue to provide top of the line, 21st century library service to all who enter through our doors.
