Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  Section 1 of Resolution No. 408, effective July 1, 2005, which presently reads as follows:

 

"The Mayor or the Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts or for the use of existing Contracts, provide for an Agreement or Agreements or for the use of existing Agreements, and provide for repairs, maintenance, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of equipment, materials and supplies in connection with the on-going maintenance, rehabilitation and new construction of City-owned walls, steps & fences, at a cost not to exceed $265,000.00, chargeable to and payable from the following account:
