Resolution requesting the approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-13225, from Aldente Inc., 8 Hattan Drive, Coraopolis, PA 15108 to PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski, 2106 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, for the premises, located at 900 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 , pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby endorses the request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. E-03952, from Aldente Inc., 8 Hattan Drive, Coraopolis, PA 15108 to PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski, 2106Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 for the premises, located at 900 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

 

SECTION 2.  Request for Approval

 

PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski, which has a mailing address of 2106 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, submitted a request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. R-13225, which is currently registered to Aldente Inc., 8 Hattan Drive, Coraopolis, PA 15108, desires to place a restaurant liquor license into a premise known and numbered as 900 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. The proposed interior of the premises is approximately 2,900 square feet. The mezzanine is 1,100 square feet and 2150 square feet in the basement the restaurant/bar which will occupy the first floor of the building.

 

SECTION 3 Public Hearing

 

                     City Council shall set a date for Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing in the City of Pittsburgh concerning PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski's intent to the above liquor license.

 

SECTION 4.  Approval or Denial of Request

 

                     After the Public Hearing which was held Thursday, October 6, 2005, and within 45 days of the introduction of this Resolution, City Council shall render a decision to approve or disapprove of PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski's request for inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license.  City Council must approve PijShantz Holdings LLC c/o Michael Pijanowski's request unless it finds that approval would adversely affect the welfare, health, peace and morals of the City of Pittsburgh or its residents.
