Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Director of the Department of  General services, and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts for the purchase of various trucks, and related accessories to include but not limited to; light bars, plows, spreaders, and radios, for the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Operations, at a cost not to exceed three hundred eighty six thousand dollars ($386,000.00), chargeable to and payable from Fund 8710, Org. 420000, Account 525500, Sub-class 600, Budget Year 2005, Department of Public Works. Funding for these vehicles is from the State of PA winter services agreement, which will be received on or about December 1, 2005, and may be encumbered at that time.
