"Standards That Apply to Uses Listed in the Use Table" to address Forestry; and by supplementing Chapter 926, "Definitions", by including additional definitions.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Amending the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title Nine, Zoning, Article IX, Chapter 911-"Primary Uses" Section 911.02 "Use Table" by adding Forestry as a permitted use under Administrator's Special Exception in all zoning districts, Chapter 911.04A, "Standards That Apply to Uses Listed in the Use Table" to address Forestry; and by supplementing Chapter 926, "Definitions", by including additional definitions as follows:.


Amend 911.02 Use Table by adding Forestry as a use permitted via Administrator's Exception in all zoning districts.

Forestry Activities: The management, cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting of timber from a site of one quarter acre (10,890 square feet; approximately 104.35 feet by 104.35 feet) or more, or a linear extent in any direction exceeding 200 feet. Does not include the production or processing of lumber or similar activities whether grown on site or off site.


Amend 911.04.A (Standards that apply to Uses Listed in the Use Table) to address Forestry

Forestry Uses shall be subject to the following standards:

Site Plan (Logging Plan) Review will be required as per Section 922.04
