Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency for the purpose of receiving and spending grant funds in the amount of SEVENTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS ($17,598,124.00) for the purchase of radios.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in order to receive a grant award for SEVENTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS ($17,598,124.00) to purchase radios. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 2129400457.45500.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, to make all legitimate expenditures required by said Agreement(s) as outlined in Section 1. Said expenditures shall not exceed SEVENTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS ($17,598,124.00) chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expense account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 2129400457.
