Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to receive grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program in the amount of ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE ($1,951,775) dollars to support landslide mitigation efforts on Newton Street.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE ($1,951,775) dollars for the Newton Street Landslide Project. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 6029400449.45700.00.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Department of Mobility and infrastructure are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE ($1,951,775) dollars for the Newton Street Landslide Project under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400449.
