Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Directors of the Department of Public Works and the Department of Innovation & Performance to enter into an Agreement with IndoorVu to improve the management of the City of Pittsburgh’s facility spaces for the total cost not to exceed Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($12,600.00).

WHEREAS, the City’s Department of Public Works operates all City facilities management; and

 

WHEREAS, the City’s Department of Innovation & Performance administers all City technological functions; and

 

WHEREAS, the current City facilities management system lacks necessary technological advancements to aid with the multifunctionality of facility operations; and

 

WHEREAS, the City’s Technology Leadership Council (TLC) is in support of this objective; and

 

WHEREAS, this Space Management project is a pilot approach to the exploration of space management improvements utilizing IndoorVu’s digital geospatial and non-geospatial facilities data system made available through a simple web application.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Directors of the Department of Public Works and the Department of Innovation & Performance are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with IndoorVu to improve the management of City facility spaces for the total cost not to exceed Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($12,600.00) to provide technological facility improvements.

 

Section 2.                     Amount is payable from the following accounts:
