Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for the purpose of receiving and spending grant funds in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($500,000.00) dollars to support the equitable street tree plan.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Department Public Works on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in order to receive a grant award of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00). Funds shall be deposited in JDE job number 4029400444.45500.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of Department of Public Works, are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, to make all legitimate expenditures required by said Agreement(s) as outlined in Section 1. Said expenditures shall not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000). Funds shall be deposited in JDE job number 4029400444.
Section 3. A local match of ONE HUDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000) shall come from the Pittsburgh Shade Tree Commission JDE Account# 4000285300.53901, for a total job cost of SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($600,000).
