WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (“PWSA”) desires to acquire all of the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to City-owned property located at located at 624 Tesla Street, designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 55-M Lot 302 and Block 55-M Lot 305; and

WHEREAS, PWSA requires this parcel for critical water infrastructure;

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh desires to approve the conveyance to PWSA;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute a quitclaim deed and any other necessary or appropriate documents and instruments conveying all of the City's right, title and interest in and to the property in the 15^th Ward of the City located at 624 Tesla Street, designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 55-M Lot 302 and Block 55-M Lot 305, to the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority for $9,000.00 (Nine Thousand dollars).  The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority shall cover all costs of the conveyances.

Section 2.                     All related documents shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
