WHEREAS, City & State PA is the premier multi-media news firm that has been dedicated to covering politics, policy and the people who power Pennsylvania since 2016; and,

WHEREAS, Power Lists, created by the City & State PA, are designed to recognize leaders who are making a difference in their respective careers. Lists include, but are not limited to, Nonprofit leaders, leading government relations, Labor leaders, Fifty over 50, Forty under 40 and the Pittsburgh Power 100; and,
WHEREAS, on January 31st, 2023, City & State PA will highlight the political power brokers who made their Pittsburgh Power 100 list, the top political influencers in government, advocacy, media, health, education, business and beyond; and,
WHEREAS, those top political influencers in Pittsburgh, who have a record of achievement worthy of recognition, will be celebrated at Olive or Twist located at 140 6th St from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM with Keynote Speaker, Mayor Ed Gainey; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend City & State PA for their dedication in covering Pennsylvania’s state and local government issues and recognizing its leaders; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, January 31, 2023 to be “City & State PA Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
