Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with Allegheny Singer Research Institute D/B/A AHN Research Institute for professional services relating to the administration, implementation, and expansion of the Reaching Out on the Streets (“ROOTS”) program, for a sum not to exceed Nine Million Nine Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($9,960,000.00) through 2024, subject to annual appropriation by City Council for future years.

Funds shall be paid from the following accounts:

2022:                      $4,960,000.00 from 11101.102300.53901.2022

2023:                      $5,000,000.00 from 11101.102300.53901.2023

Section 2.                     Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
