Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant for project scoping of Saw Mill Run Boulevard in the amount of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($300,000.00) dollars with a local match of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000) dollars for a total project cost of FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND ($400,000) dollars and authorizing expenditures for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to receive a grant award in the amount of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($300,000.00) dollars for the purpose of analysis and planning surrounding wet weather and resulting flooding and landslides focusing on Saw Mill Run Boulevard as an example to amplify citywide. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 1129400394.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of City Planning are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($300,000.00) dollars for planning surrounding flooding of Saw Mill Run Boulevard under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 1129400394.50000.00
Section 3. The local match of $100,000.00 shall be paid from account 11101.110000.53.53901.2023 for a total project cost of FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND ($400,000.00) dollars.
Section 4. Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
