Title: Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections to apply for TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars in grant funding from the Allegheny County Department of Community and Economic Development, through its Act 152 Blight Removal Program, in order to fund the demolition of 1613 Broadway Avenue. Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections are hereby authorized to apply for TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) dollars in grant funding from the Allegheny County Department of Community and Economic Development in connection with the County’s Act 152 Blight Removal Program and for the purpose of funding the demolition of 1613 Broadway Avenue. In the event the grant is awarded, the parties shall subsequently enter into a Grant Agreement or Agreements in an amount not to exceed the final award amount, which shall be authorized by separate Council approval.
