Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to replace the stop light at the corner of Braddock and Forbes in the amount of FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS AND EIGHTY TWO CENTS ($471,375.82) and authorizing expenditures for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to replace the stop light at the corner of Braddock and Forbes in the amount of FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS AND EIGHTY TWO CENTS ($471,375.82). Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 6029400398.45505.00
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETEEN DOLLARS AND SEVENTY NINE CENTS ($589,219.79) to replace the stop light at the corner of Forbes and Braddock under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400398.
Section 3. The local match of ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY THREE DOLLARS AND NINETY SEVEN CENTS ($117,843.97) shall come from the 2023 Capital Budget (JDE job number 6074010223 for a total project cost of FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETEEN DOLLARS AND SEVENTY NINE CENTS ($589,219.79)
