Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to complete a stop light removal study in the amount of NINETY SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($96,000.00) dollars. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 6029400397.45505.00
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND ($120,000.00) dollars to complete a study to determine if full signalization or other stop-control methods are most appropriate under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400397.
Section 3. The local match of TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND ($24,000) dollars shall come from the 2023 Capital Budget (JDE job number 6074010123 for a total project cost of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND ($120,000.00).
