Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a professional services agreement with Pennsylvania Resources Council for waste management services in conjunction with the City of Pittsburgh’s Independence Day Festival at an amount not to exceed SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($7,500.00).

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh requires as part of its Independence Day Festival, professional services for waste management services; and

 

WHEREAS, Pennsylvania Resources Council, was selected through a competitive process as qualified for the performance of said professional services; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh now wishes to enter into an agreement with Pennsylvania Resources Council for the performance of a waste management services in conjunction with the City of Pittsburgh’s Independence Day Festival.

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with Pennsylvania Resources Council for waste management services in conjunction with the City of Pittsburgh’s Independence Day Festival at an amount not to exceed SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($7,500.00) authorized and appropriated from the following code account: 5000731400.53901.00.

 

Section 2.                     Said agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
