Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Amended Agreement or Agreements with Pittsburgh Public Safety Supply, Inc. for the provision of uniforms, duty equipment, and related tailoring and embroidering services for the Department of Public Safety. The term of the contract shall be for four years with funds subject to annual appropriation by City Council in future years.

Funds shall be subject to annual appropriation by City Council in future years and allocated among the Bureaus during the normal budget process based on size and need, to be and shall be paid from the following accounts in their respective budget years:

Section 2.                     The Director and Bureau Chiefs are also authorized to purchase uniforms from Pittsburgh Public Safety Supply, Inc. using Department of Public Safety trust fund or grant monies as authorized by the Office of Management and Budget, in line with the enacting resolution of each trust fund or grant and the terms of said Amended Agreement(s).
