Title

Resolution amending Resolution No. 387 of 2020, which authorized the City of Pittsburgh to enter into an amended Professional Services Agreement(s) with Corporate Cost Control for third party administration of the City of Pittsburgh’s liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Act for 4 additional years of services, by extending this contract for an additional four years and authorizing spend for these additional years.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Resolution No. 387 of 2020, entitled “Resolution amending Resolution No. 484 of 2016, which authorized the City of Pittsburgh to enter into a Professional Services Agreement(s) with Corporate Cost Control for third party administration of the City of Pittsburgh’s liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Act by, increasing the authorized spend by $10,400 for 2 additional years of services.” is hereby amended as follows:

 

Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Department of Human Resources and Civil Service, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into Professional Services Agreement(s) and/or Contracts with Corporate Cost Control for third party administration of the City of Pittsburgh's liabilities under the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Act, in a form approved by the City Solicitor. The total amount shall not exceed Thirty One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars Fifty Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the following account lines:

 

Funds shall be paid from the following accounts:

Section 2. The City Controller shall encumber funds for the annual contract, subject to the amount of funds to be appropriated by City Council in future budget years from the following chart of accounts:

Section 3. The Department of Human Resources and Civil Service shall schedule bi-monthly briefings through the Council Budget Office to ensure that members and staff are up-to-date on the progress of implementation of the service agreement.

 

Section 4. Any ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
