WHEREAS, the Plaza at Grandview Owner's Association ("Owner") owns a condominium building located at 111 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211; and

WHEREAS, the City seeks to maintain previously installed cameras on rooftops within the City of Pittsburgh for the purpose of providing enhanced security to its citizens; and

WHEREAS, Owner and City previously agreed to allow the City to install, operate and/or maintain, at the City's sole cost and expense, video cameras and related equipment on the Owner's building rooftop at 111 Grandview Avenue for security and other public safety purposes, pursuant to a license agreement that expired June 23, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Owner and City desire to continue said arrangement for approximately five and a half more years; and

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. On behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized to enter into a an Amended License Agreement or Agreements with the Plaza at Grandview Owner's Association for the continued installation, operation, and/or maintenance of video cameras and related equipment on the building rooftop at 111 Grandview Avenue for security and other public safety purposes. Said Amended License Agreement(s) shall be at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Four Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($104,400) to be paid from the following account codes, subject to City Council appropriations in future budget years:
