Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to receive grant funding from the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission under the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program Funding for the Frankstown Avenue Signal Replacement Project in the amount of THREE MILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE ($3,322,679.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to receive grant funding from the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Funding for the Frankstown Avenue Signal Replacement Project in the amount of THREE MILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE ($3,322,679.00) dollars. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400380.45703.00

 

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts, for expenditures not to exceed THREE MILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY NINE ($3,322,679.00) dollars for the Frankstown Avenue Signal Replacement Project under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 6029400380.

 

Section 3. Local match of $830,670.00 shall come from the 2023 future City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget(s) for a total project cost of FOUR MILLION ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY NINE ($4,153,349.00) dollars.
