Resolution amending resolution No. 662 of 2019 entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, and the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for a grant from the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County’s (RAAC) Gaming Economic Development fund for up to $500,000.00 to provide funding for the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Davis Avenue” to accept the grant and authorize necessary expenditures.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Resolution No. 662 of 2019, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, and the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for a grant from the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County’s (RAAC) Gaming Economic Development fund for up to $500,000.00 to provide funding for the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Davis Avenue” is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to apply for receive a grant from the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County’s (RAAC) Gaming Economic Development fund for up to $500,000.00 in the amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) dollars to provide funding for the construction of a pedestrian bridge at Davis Avenue. and, should the grant be awarded by RAAC, are authorized to enter into agreements with RAAC. In the event this grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($500,000.00) for this stated purpose. The grant does not require a local match. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400304.45703.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to entire into agreements or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts for expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) dollars for the construction of a pedestrian Bridge at Davis Ave under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 6029400304.
