Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and Director of the Department of Public Works, are authorized to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Keystone Communities Grant program, to provide funding for the purchase of play equipment in Phillips Park. The grant proposal includes a request of THIRTY THOUSAND ($30,000.00) DOLLARS. In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed THIRTY THOUSAND ($30,000.00) DOLLARS for this stated purpose.
