Body
WHEREAS, a planning process led by Homewood Community Sports and residents in the Homewood community resulted in a Master Plan for the Homewood Park Infrastructure Upgrades; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2018 Capital Budgets includes a balance of $764,304.00 for Homewood Infrastructure Upgrades; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2019 Capital Budget includes $1,400,000.00 for Homewood Park - Design; and

WHEREAS, on February 11, 2020, the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, released a Request for Proposals to solicit for landscape architectural services for professional services to complete design documents for Homewood; and

WHEREAS, a selection committee chose a proposal by Studio Zewde for professional landscape architectural services; and

WHEREAS, City Council approved Resolution No. 466, effective September 15, 2020, entitled, "Authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, between the City of Pittsburgh and Studio Zewde, for the professional landscape architectural services for Homewood Park Infrastructure Upgrades at a cost not to exceed One Million Six Hundred Thirty Thousand and Fourteen Dollars ($1,630,014.00)."; and

WHEREAS, the City did not include the reimbursable expenses...
