Resolution approving the recommendation made by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure that Ryolite Way be paved with asphalt in accordance with Section 417.06 of the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances.

WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh City Council by Ordinance 42 of 2018 amended Section 417.06 of the City of Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances requires final legislative approval of City Council should the Director of Mobility and Infrastructure recommend asphalt paving of a street that is currently brick, block stone, wood, or concrete.

 

WHEREAS, Ryolite Way is currently concrete and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure recommends that such streets have an overlay of asphalt.

 

 WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh of wishes to advance the paving of Ryolite Way with an asphalt overlay as recommended by the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure 

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is authorized to pave Ryolite Way from Livery Way to Mathews Way with an overlay of asphalt.
