Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Multimodal Transportation Program for sidewalk improvements to Irvine Street in the Hazelwood neighborhood and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in order to receive a grant award in the amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) dollars for the purpose of constructing sidewalk improvements to Irvine Street in the Hazelwood neighborhood. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund Account 6029400354.45505.00.

 

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND ($200,000.00) dollars for the purpose of constructing sidewalk improvements to Irvine Street in the Hazelwood neighborhood under the terms of an agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400354.50000.00.
