Resolution authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission's Access to Historical Records: Archival Projects to enhance discoverability and access to Pittsburgh's archival collections and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR ($133,934.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with National Historical Publications and Records Commission to receive a grant award in the amount of ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR ($133,934.00) dollars for the purpose of enhancing discoverability and access to Pittsburgh's archival collections. The grant requires a match in the amount of FIFTY ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FOURTEEN ($51,614.00) dollars for a total project cost of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY EIGHT ($185,548.00) dollars. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0129400357.45703.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR ($133,934.00) dollars for the purpose of enhancing discoverability and access to Pittsburgh's archival collections under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the National Historical Publications and Records Commission for the purpose of enhancing discoverability and access to Pittsburgh's archival collections.
