Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner to install diesel exhaust apparatus in multiple Emergency Medical Service’s stations, and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY THREE DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS ($8,993.20) for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner in order to receive a grant award in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY THREE DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS ($8,993.20) for the purpose of installing diesel exhaust apparatus in Emergency Medical Service stations.   Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 4029400351.45505.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts not to exceed EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY THREE DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS ($8,993.20) for the purpose of installing diesel exhaust apparatus in multiple Emergency Medical Service Stations under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner. Costs are chargeable to and payable from account JDE JOB NO.4029400351.50000.00.
