Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner in order to receive a grant award of FOURTEEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE ($14,999.00) dollars for the purpose of purchasing a custom built fire hydrant cut-a-way for the Fire Training Academy. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 2529400352.45505.00.

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts not to exceed FOURTEEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE ($14,999.00) for the purpose of purchasing a custom built fire hydrant cut-away for the Fire Training Academy. Costs are chargeable to and payable from account 2529400352.50000.00.
