Resolution amending Resolution No. 367 of 2018, which authorized the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into an Amended Agreement or Agreements with Pittsburgh Public Safety Supply, Inc. for the provision of uniforms, duty equipment and related tailoring and embroidering services for the Department of Public Safety, by extending the term for one additional year.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Amended Agreement or Agreements with Pittsburgh Public Safety Supply, Inc. for the provision of uniforms, duty equipment, and related tailoring and embroidering services for the Department of Public Safety. The term of the contract shall be for three four years with funds subject to annual appropriation by City Council in future years.

 

Funds shall be allocated among the Bureaus during the normal budget process based on size and need and shall be paid from the following accounts:

Section 2.                     The Director and Bureau Chiefs are also authorized to purchase uniforms from Pittsburgh Public Safety Supply, Inc. using Department of Public Safety trust fund or grant monies as authorized by the Office of Management and Budget, in line with the enacting resolution of each trust fund or grant and the terms of said Amended Agreement(s).

 

Section 3.                     Said Amended Agreement or Agreement(s) shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
