Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows

Section 1.                     The Mayor is authorized to enter on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh into relevant agreements with Everytown Support Fund in the amount of TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS $200,000 for expansion of the City’s gun violence prevention program, specifically to cover expenses related to the hiring of a Gun Violence Data Fellow dedicated to collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting information related to gun violence including homicides, aggravated assaults, shots fired, gun arrests, and officer-involved shootings. Said funds shall be deposited into the following account:  2329400314.48311.00

Section 2:                     Expenditures as authorized hereunder shall be chargeable and payable from the following account:   2329400314.50000.00

Said agreement(s) shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
